Machu Picchu, the great wonder of the world, was discovered by Mr. Hiram Bingham. He was Professor of the Hiel University (Born in Honolulu 1875 - and died in Washington 1956). This majestic citadel rises to 2350 meters high on the Urubamba River and is surrounded by terraces and balconies to protect temples, workshops, homes and holy places.
The citadel of Machu Picchu is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world; it houses unique characteristics in both architecture and engineering. Machu Picchu was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1983, but is known as the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu to possess cultural wealth left by the Incas and the largest variety of orchids.
Thanks to its environment forest, moist, warm and almost always covered by fog and rain have been able to develop several species of trees, ferns, grasses, mosses and scrub plants.
We are very proud to belong and work in the beautiful city of Cusco, which was the birthplace and capital of the great Inca culture.
